Plus Size Customers and getting a massage...

This is a great article written by Suzannah Weiss. It talks about the stigmas of plus size women with spas and massages. Unfortunately I once had a horrifying experience with a massage in which the masseuse repeatedly told me I didn't need a massage and instead needed to go to the gym. I had already lost 160lbs at this point and felt amazing but was instantly made to feel I was over 350lbs again. I wrote about the entire experience in "Unzipped" in hopes to bring more awareness to these stigmas. I was able to find humor in my situation but this happens more often that we realize and it can really break someone who is already in a very vulnerable state, you know, such as being naked on a table with nothing but a sheet between you and a personal stranger.
